Understanding Supapin's credit system

Learn how publishing credits work, when they're spent, how they reset, and what happens when you're running low.

What are credits

Credits are Supapin's way of measuring pin publishing usage. Each credit equals one pin published to Pinterest. Your monthly credit allowance depends on your plan: Starter gets 1,000 credits, Pro gets 5,000 credits, and Business gets 30,000 credits.

Credits are only spent when a pin is actually published to Pinterest β€” not when it's generated. This means you can generate and preview as many pins as you want, and you'll only use credits when approved pins go live on your Pinterest account.

How credits are spent

Credits are spent at the moment a pin is published to Pinterest β€” not when it's generated. This means you can freely generate pins, review them, edit text, and approve only the ones you want without spending any credits.

A credit is consumed when Supapin's scheduler publishes an approved pin to your Pinterest board. If you generate a pin but never approve or publish it, no credit is spent. This gives you full flexibility to preview and curate your pins before committing credits.

Monthly credit reset

Your credit allowance resets at the beginning of each billing cycle. If your billing cycle starts on the 15th of each month, your credits reset on the 15th.

Unused credits do not roll over to the next month. Each billing cycle starts fresh with your full credit allowance. This keeps pricing simple and predictable.

Credit usage alerts

Supapin sends a notification when you've used 80% or more of your monthly credits. This alert appears in your dashboard notifications and helps you plan your remaining pin generation for the month.

The notification is sent at most once per 24 hours to avoid spam. If you're consistently running out of credits before the end of your billing cycle, it may be time to consider upgrading to a higher plan.
