How does Supapin schedule and publish pins to Pinterest?

Supapin's scheduling system runs automatically in the background. Once you approve pins, they enter a scheduling queue. Supapin distributes approved pins throughout the day based on your daily pin count setting.

A background job runs every 15 minutes and checks for pins that are due for publishing. When it's time, Supapin calls the Pinterest API to publish each pin to its assigned board. You can see the publishing status of each pin in your dashboard.

In your website settings, you can set how many pins Supapin should publish per day. This number controls the pace of publishing — a higher number means more pins go out each day.

Pinterest experts generally recommend publishing 5-15 pins per day for optimal reach. Supapin spaces your pins throughout the day rather than publishing them all at once, which aligns with Pinterest's best practices for account growth.

When a pin's scheduled time arrives, Supapin sends it to Pinterest via the official API. The pin is created on your specified board with the title, description, and image you approved.

If publishing fails (e.g., due to a temporary Pinterest API issue), Supapin retries automatically up to 3 times. You can see the status of each pin — whether it's scheduled, published, or if there was an error — in your Pins page.

You can pause scheduling at any time by setting your daily pin count to 0. This stops all future publishing without affecting pins that have already been published.

To resume, simply set your daily pin count back to your desired number. Approved pins in the queue will start being scheduled again. This is useful if you want to take a break or if you're making changes to your Pinterest strategy.
